  • A stronger, Light and Sound Detector

A stronger, Light-Sound detector is a walking robot that operates with the aid of a sound and light sensor.
Clap hands or shine a light signal to command this robot to start walking on four legs, emits an infrared beam; detects obstacles in front of the robot, signaling it to change direction and continue movement. Designed for toy manufacturer.

  • EBG Transmission lines

We manage engineering research and developed EBG (Electromagnetic Band Gap) transmission lines on high resistivity silicon substrate. These transmission lines can be used as more efficient transmission lines as well as active devices like low pass filters, high pass filters, band pass filters etc can be designed inside them so can save space on the printed circuit board and the transmission lines are 30 times better than the transmission lines currently available.

  • Digital Heater Control Board

We have updated a digital heater control board for an OEM to control the temperature of incubator in automatic chemical analyzer to +/-1% of a degree. The heater control board was using pulse width modulated signal to control the heaters and can be set to eight different temperatures from 31˚C to 39˚C. An eight-bit I/O port was used to communicate with a PC.

  • Two Axes Stepper Motor Control System

We have designed and manufactured a prototype QC system for our client in Northern Ireland. They have needed a two axes stepper motor-based QC system in the production facility, to measure and check the uniformity of Threhalose deposition on the Biochip surface. We developed a prototype system based around a Hohner surface roughness optical sensor. The Hohner sensor was fixed and the 100 cells ceramic plate moved in a measured and repeatable manner to various set positions. Two single axis IMS motion controllers with a system of handshaking were set for smooth operation of the system. An input was also available to a PC to control the movement of the system and to record the data from the Hohner sensor.

We have designed and build a complete test system for Cavro stepper motor control boards.

 

  • Liquid Level Detection

We manage research and development of a liquid level detection system for automatic chemical analyzer to aspirate and dispense control amounts of samples. The system was based on capacitance change principle using 555-timer, AD650 frequency to voltage converter and Atmel AT90S8535 8-bit microcontroller.

  • Blood Clot Detector

Within a three months research on blood clot detection we have invented a novel method of clot detection in blood or serum sample using a 100-psi pressure transducer (26PCFF6G6) and some discrimination circuitry.
